From the beginning of his career he designed for top level brands. From this moment he collected a lot of collaborations with the most important “made in Italy” design brands like AntonioLupi, FontanaArte, Cappellini, De Padova, Flou, Bentley Home, Flexform, iGuzzini, Trussardi Casa,Giorgetti, Poliform, Bugatti Home, Poltrona Frau, Teuco, Baxter, Varenna, Zanotta, to mention just few.

Beyond designing products and furniture, Colombo also takes care of strategy and marketing for the companies and he curates exhibitions, works as a consultant and art director. His work was initially focused in design and interior, but extended also into construction, in Italy and abroad.
In 2004 the architect received the title of Designer of the Year, in 2009 he won an international competition for the design of two towers in Abu Dhabi and from 2011 onwards he teaches design at De Tao Masters Academy of Beijing.
He received many other awards, the Elle Decor International Design Award in 2005, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2016, the Good Design Award of the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and the Chicago Athenaeum in 2009.
