After graduating in architecture at the Milan Polytechnic in 1990, he starts to work in his father’s firm Mario Bellini Associati. He learns the designer’s job directly in the field.
In 1997 he cofounds the Atelier Bellini and in 2006 he opens an independent studio: Claudio Bellini Design + Design.

He has created furnishings for major design companies (De Sede, Driade, Fiam, Flou, Heller, Interstuhl, Plank, Poltrona Frau, Serralunga, Tecno, Thonet, Vitra, Walter Knoll and many others).
His studio works in all sectors of industrial products, such as research for Fiat Auto.
